Spokane, Felts Field

Said goodbye to our escorts after fueling at Waterville. Since we had a late start, and a goat rope on fueling it cost us some time. And we poor north westerners were feeling droopy in the heat. So we opted for one more leg today and set our sights on Felts Field. It was a good choice, for no sooner had we rolled into our tie own spots that a golf cart whizzed up with cold beer, a tour of the airport and facilities and an invite to a steak BBQ at our hosts, Mark and Gail’s hangar. Cocktail hour there now, more later. PS the weather here is perfect!
